The 4th & 5th grade had an amazing time at the Grand Coulee Dam last Thursday. We were able to take a deeper look into hydro power and how it is created. Thank you to the tour guides and all the parent chaperones! It was a great day!

We are pleased to introduce Tim Payne as our new Superintendent for the Almira School District in the upcoming school year. With a strong background in education and extensive experience in leadership roles, Tim brings valuable expertise and a deep commitment to student success.
Tim grew up on the Colville Indian Reservation in Nespelem, WA, and graduated from Lake Roosevelt High School. He pursued higher education at the Community Colleges of Spokane, where he earned an Associate of Arts degree. Tim continued his studies at Eastern Washington University, obtaining two Bachelor of Arts degrees, and later earned a Master's degree from Heritage University. He also holds a Superintendent Certification from Washington State University.
Tim's professional journey began as a teacher in Nespelem, WA, where he taught for five years. He then served as Superintendent/Principal of Keller, WA, for three years before assuming the role of Superintendent in College Place, WA, where he served for 18 years. Tim later served as Superintendent of Ephrata, WA, for five years.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with his family. He has been married to his wife, Sheilah, for 36 years, and they have three daughters together. Tim's hobbies include dirt bike riding, side by side adventures, and playing basketball.
With his wealth of experience and dedication to education, we are confident that Tim Payne will lead our school communities with integrity and vision. Please join us in welcoming him to our team.

STATE BASKETBALL SEND OFF
Wednesday at 1:45 pm from ACH High School!
At roughly 2:05 from Almira, the team will drive by the school and Almira Elementary & ACH Middle School students will cheer them on from the sidewalk!
